Hello there, this is a card that was extremely difficult to make. Not in terms of the actual card making but because the occasion I am making it for, is a truly tragic one. Sadly, my friend lost her new born baby girl recently. I wanted to send her a card to let her know I am thinking of her.
I started off with a piece of TH Watercolour Cardstock. I stamped the butterfly from the HA Stamp & Cut: Butterflies set on to it with Versamark ink. I then added white embossing powder and heat set it. I then took my Zig Clean Color Real Brush pens and coloured the butterfly, keeping the colours soft.
Once dried, the panel was adhered to a white A2 card base. The sentiment, from the Clearly Besotted Many Mini Messages set (yes, I am obsessed with it!), was stamped with black ink on to more watercolour cardstock. This was cut out and adhered on top of the butterfly with foam tape. I finished off by adding a little Wink of Stella to the butterfly and some PPP sparkling clear sequins.

it.
ZIG CLEAN COLOR REAL BRUSH PENS: 25 Pink, 70 Orange, 36 Light Blue.
Although the card is a lot simpler (in term of design) and softer in colour, I was inspired by these amazing cards by Jennifer McGuire. Thank you so much for visiting me today. I hope you have a beautiful, love filled day!
