Hello there and welcome to the Hero Arts My Monthly Hero February Kit Release Blog Hop. You should have arrived here from the amazing Libby, but if you get lost along the way, I have a full list of participants below.
The kit is amazing! It is excellent for encouragement cards, friendship cards and all round making people smile cards! My project focusses on the main kit stamp set but there is lots in the kit itself and the add-ons are amazing too! I will be sharing more with these later in the month.
For my card, I started off by cutting a panel of mask paper using one of the circles from the Nesting Circles Infinity dies set. This was added on top a piece of watercolour paper. The clouds were stamped in the top left of the circle with Soft Sky ink (mini size included in the kit). The girl holding the umbrella was stamped in Soft Granite ink. I am not going for a no-line look for this, just a soft look. The mask paper was then taken a way and a I drew on a circle using the die as a template for where to paint.
The image was coloured using watercolour paints, plus one Zig Clean Color Real Brush pen for the clouds. Once the image was dry, I did go over the rain drops with a coloured pencil to help them pop a bit from the background. The sentiment, from the same stamp set in the kit, was stamped to the side with black ink. The panel was adhered to a grey card base with foam tape.

Here is a look at how I made the card, focussing mostly on the watercolouring part:
