Hello there, today I have the pleasure of taking part in the Hero Arts April My Monthly Hero Kit Blog Hop. The kit releases today and I have to say, it's a great one! Like I said in my post on Friday, it's especially good for all the women in our lives and for my cards today, I went with a friendship theme. I have focussed on using the main stamp set in the kit which is a fab DIY person set. You can create women with different heads, outfits, arms, feet etc. It is a lot of fun!
If you are following along with the hop, you should have arrived here from the amazing Libby. If you get lost a long the way, I have a full list of participants below.
For my first card, I started off with a piece of white cardstock and stamped the head, top, jeans and feet to create my woman. These stamps are really quite easy to line up but I did use a stamp positioning tool to help me out. These were all stamped using Intense Black Ink. I then coloured the image with Copic Markers.
The sentiment, from the Dress Up Stamp & Cut (a fabulous add-on that can be purchased separately), was stamped to the side. The panel was then cut down to 3.5" x 4.75" and added to a card base made using the teal cardstock included in the kit, with foam tape.
SUPPLIES:
Here are the links to what I have used on the card. Please click on the picture or wording to be taken to where I purchased
it. Affiliate links are used on some products. This means that if you make a

COPIC MARKERS: Skin - E13, E11, E00, E000, R20. Hair - E23, E25, E27, E49. Top - BG78, BG57, BG18, BG13, BG01. Trousers - T10, T8, T7, T6. Ground - W5, W3, W1.
Since I had so much fun building the woman using the stamps, I decided to create another. Again, I mixed and matched her head, top, arms, skirt and legs. When stamping the legs, I did mask off the skirt to make the legs fit a little better. The image was coloured with Copic Markers. This time I went for a softer look, just adding a slight bit of colour to each part of her.
The sentiment, from the same main stamp set, was stamped next to her using Intense Black Ink and Ultra Pink Ink. I took a white 4" x 5.25" card base and added a panel of the gorgeous shimmery pink cardstock that comes in the kit on top. The image panel was then added with foam tape.
